Tsunami Rose Challenge #10: Cards

It's Wednesday - and that means it's challenge time
 @

The Design Team (DT) was asked to use
doilies, ribbon and buttons with the
set for this week's Challenge
#10: Cards
at

I loved working with this set
(you will be seeing
alot
more creations from me using this set,
 for sure!)
You can purchase this beautiful
(did I say absolutely beautious - beautiful) set
  here!

And this is my creation for this challenge:

The basics of this card (kind of my visual recipe card) are right here if you want to follow along:

The white cardstock base was distressed with what is turning out to be my "go to" ink.
I use the Tim Holtz (Ranger) Old Paper Distress Ink on most of my creations.
My next layer was simply cut to size from the journal pack.
The sentiment and the 2 layers behind it are simply cut and punched
(my first time - needs practice, that's for sure - but
I knew I would pretty much
"hide" my imperfections with bling and buttons).
The ribbon punch is BRAND NEW - first time using it - how pretty!!!
I simply attached some lace from my stash first and then layered the "ribbon" layer on top of it.
Die cut bunches (pun intended :) of flower petals with the
George and Basic Shapes cartridge and my Cricut
Curling and gluing the petals together and deciding on placement.
Added some pink Liquid Pearls around base of sentiment block and
attached it with foam tape for some dimension
(and to help the flowers sit easier).
Add a string of pearls and a few leaves and ribbon loops

And this is what it looks like finished!

Thanks for stopping by today!
I really appreciate it!
Blessings,
Trudy
