Legend of the Dogwood - Tammy's Scrapin Corner #54

 Challenge #54 is Easter

This beautiful image is The Dogwood Cross and the Sentiment is the Legend of the Dogwood 

I layered a 3 pieces each (front, inside front and inside) of 

5 1/4 x 4" piece of  turquoise cardstock and a

 5 x 3 3/4" piece of pink cardstock over a

 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" base of white 

I printed out 2 of the Legend digis and 

cut them and one additional pieces of white stock

 at 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" 

All three of these pieces were embossed with a 

Spellbiders Nestabilities A2 Matting Basics B Die,

sprayed with water and  "stained" with 

Tim Holtz Spun Sugar and Peacock Feathers 

Distress Stain

The Dogwood Cross was colored with

 Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers Distress Ink using a

 sponge makeup wedge from my local discount store.  

The flowers were colored with  water color pencils from

that I've had for almost 20 years.

 All the layers were attached with my

 ATC gun and the cross with foam tape 

 (bought at local Home Depot 

- remember I live in the COUNTRY 

- no crafts stores anywhere near me).
