Eureka Stamps is our sponsor this week at
Tammy's Scrapin Corner where the
Challenge #54 is Easter
This beautiful image is The Dogwood Cross
I liked this image so much that I made a second card with it.
Lucky you, you get a two for one today!
I hope you enjoy them!!!
I layered a of
5 1/4 x 4" piece of pink cardstock and a
5 x 3 3/4" piece of turquoise cardstock over a
5 1/2" x 4 1/4" base of white
I printed out the Dogwood Cross digi on white stock
Another piece of white was cut
at 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
cut with a
Spellbiders Shapeabilities Die D-Lite Medallion Four die
in the top center to give it somewhat of a
"stained glass" look behind the cross.
The Dogwood Cross was colored with
Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers Distress Ink using a
sponge makeup wedge from my local discount store.
The flowers were colored with water color pencils from
that I've had for almost 20 years.
All the layers were attached with my
ATC gun and the cross with foam tape
(bought at local Home Depot
- remember I live in the COUNTRY
- no crafts stores anywhere near me).
Thanks for stopping by.
I hope I've given you a little inspiration for a simple but beautiful Easter Card.
Go check out all the stamps Eureka has and show
Tammy and my fellow DT's some love for the inspiration cards!
Who knows, you might be our next winner!
Have a great week!
Blessings,
Trudy
