Roses of Picardy

This beautiful paper is
6x6 Vintage Digital Printable Scrapbook Paper -
 "Picardy Roses"  from
Tsunami Rose Designs collection and you can get it
here

And here is my photo recipe card that I love to show ya'll

All the edges of the card were inked with a makeup sponge using mixtures of Time Holta (Ranger) Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Old Paper

The music paper is from:

Kraft Paper was embossed with a
Sizzix Decorative Flourishes die and sponged with the same
Distress Ink, sprayed with water and sponged with
Ranger's Distress Metallic Stain alternating with Antiqued Bronze and Tarnished Brass

Since I couldn't figure out how to use these new dies in my Grand Calibur
(haven't had time to research it yet, anyone want to help -
they aren't only for embossing, are they?),
I had to hnd cut these (what fun with MS).

I glued them to the side panels and attached some discount store adhesive backed gems

Had to get creative to keep the glue from sticking to the center - I simply slid a piece of waxed paper between them until the glue dried.

First layer
 Banner and
die cut leaves using Spellbinders Shapeabilities Foliage dies,
The leaves were  inked and sprayed with Goosebumps for texture and then "folded a little" for dimension.

I did a bit of a "cut out" for interest and added on my layer and added
Ranger Liquid Pearls in Butterscotch and Flamingo to the roses that I had cut.
After they dried, I attached them to the original with foam tape.

The "second layer and the banner" were attached with foam tape and a piece of sheer copper ribbon from my stash was tied to the front.

Thanks for checking out today's newest creation.  Hope you liked it.
Blessings!
Trudy
