MFP Sketch With A Twist #39 - Use A Banner

Happy Birthday!
The use of pastels gives a Spring feeling to this card made for my last GDT at
Mark's Finest Papers Sketch With A Twist

The sentiments and images were stamped using the Celebrate Mini 2012 set which you can purchase here

Cut an 8.5 x 11 inch piece of white card stock to 8.5 x 5.5 inches, score and fold at 4.25 inches
Cut pink Colorbok designer paper to 5.25 x 4 inches

Stamp the birthday cake and color with your black ink and color and cut out close to the image
One dried, apply the liquid pearls
(daffodil on the candle flames and the lime green and flamingo were used on the flowers) -
follow drying instructions and test before trying to touch this or you will have a mess on your image!!!
(This IS experience telling you this)
The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped with the Rose Bud, cut and cut to size just around the sentiment.
The flower image was stamped in Mustard Seed.
Once the ink dried it was colored  and cut just around the image.
White card stock was stamped randomly with the mustard seed, dried marigold and the Rose Bud and the sentiment and flower image were mounted with foam tape to the
"rainbow background" which was then trimmed
Liquid pearls was added to the flower centers and at the corners of the Happy Birthday block.

A piece of 5.75 inch of thread was cut and taped to the
back of the pink paper at 1 1/4" from the bottom
(I left this a little loose so that I could pull it down some in the middle).
Cut 7 pieces of white card stock in 3/8" x 7/8" triangles and randomly stamped with the ink pads
Tape these triangles to white card stock and trim with decorate scissors

Tape the pink paper to the white card base
Attach in front of the thread with  tape making the center the lowest point
(make it look like it is sagging in the middle)
Foam tape was used  applied to the "banners"
Liquid pearls lime green was dotted at each corner on the top of each banner

The sentiment and image blocks were attached with foam tape
