QKR is all about Giving Thanks

Please join in the new challenge this week at QKR.

The theme for #65 is "Give Thanks".

I've used the Happy Thanksgiving digital (#3815) for my inspiration card for you this week.

It's pretty basic and a really Clean and Simple card.
The sentiment is layered four times, using a Spellbinder's Nestabilities A2 (A) and A2 (B) dies and
Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page (Laurel Leaf) set.

This card would be a really easy one to reproduce quickly if you desired.
I'm kind of a one design type of girl though and prefer each of my creations to be somewhat different.
I only mass produce if I am designing an event.
Other than that it is pretty much one of a kind creations for me.

I have a tendency to leave the insides of my card blank
(no sentiment)
since I love to include personal messages to the people I send them to.

For full details on the designers' cards you can click on their name which is linked to their blogs! We love to hear from you, so you are always welcome to visit, we would love to receive your comments!

Reminder:
To play along with us, please post a direct link to the card/project on your blog using inlinkz and link back to our challenge from your blog!
You can join in as many other challenges with ours as you like! You can only enter our challenge a MAXIMUM of 3 times per challenge. Please do NOT backlink to other cards you have previously Posted.

Winter Greetings from Our Ranch To Yours

What a great image, it reminds me of so many friend's places.

I love it when a card opens up long forgotten memories for me and that's exactly what this one did!

I've used the Snowy Barn digital and the Our Ranch sentiment for my

DT inspiration card for you for the

Western Days Challenge

 this week at

QKR.

Colored pencils were used to color the image

Tulip Glitter Dimensional Fabric Paint (Diamond) was used for the snow

The white base (Colorbock - white) was cut at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4", the (Recollections) Shades of Red at 5 1/4 x 4 and the image, 5 x 3 3/4.  The image was attached to the red layer with foam tape and both were attached to the white card base with the ATG tape.

A 5 1/4 x 4 piece of The Paper Studio's Santa and Friends Paper Pack was attached to the card base with an ATG.  The sentiment was cut at 4" x 2 3/4" and mounted on a 4 1/4"  x 3" piece of the same red used on the front of the card.

Recollections baker's twine is added to the card

3 Snowflakes (Recollections adhesive glitter shapes) were added to the top right hand corner of the card front

I'm so happy that you chose to take a closer look at my creation  for QKR this week.

If you have any questions, please, leave a comment or shoot me an email, I will do my best to answer as quickly as possible.

 Thanks so very much!!!

 Blessings!

It's Harvest Time at QKR this week!

It's Friday!!!
I hope it is the beginning of a great weekend for everyone.

This week at

QKR

 the challenge (#63) is:

 Anything Goes/Harvest.

I chose to work with the Indian Corn digital (#8601) which I printed out on water color paper and colored with my water color pencils.  I fussy cut the image and mounted it on a sheet of copper metallic paper (Colorbok) to fit.  The card base and top layers are also Colorbok papers.

This is the first time I have tried paper piercing (I used one of the plastic canvass pieces - Walmart, as a template for the piercing).  Not as even as I would have hoped, but I'll keep trying.

The sentiment is from the Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps (a Hendrich Co).  It is from the Autumn Splender 2012 stamp set which is turning out to be my go to set for my Autumn creations.

I hope you have time to check out all of the Design Team's inspiration projects for you and get your creative energy going and enter to win some great digis.
