If you hop on over to
for this week's challenge you have a chance to win some of their great images.
You'll need to use your creativity for this Anything Goes Challenge (#57) and use
1 image, 2 dies, and 3 embellishments
to qualify
Materials used:
- White Card Stock
- Inks: Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Shabby Shutters, Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold and Broken China)
- Elmers Orange Glitter Glue
- Ribbon from stash
- Silk flowers from stash
Tools used:
- Grand Calibur
- Spellbinders Nestablities Wavy Rectangles
- Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers
Here is my PT (photo tutorial):
The image was colored with Spectrum Noir Markers
(and as you can see, I am new to coloring images and need to practice as often as possible
AND I only have about 15 markers so far and am limited to the colors I have available).
I sponged white card stock with all of the inks and added a
strip of sheer orange ribbon from my stash and made a
small bow from the same ribbon.
The image and it's backing were both cut with the
Wavy Rectangles dies
(the 2nd and 3rd largest).
All the layers were attached with an ATC.
The silk flowers (from Dollar Tree) were inked on the tips and glued in place around the bow.
Orange glitter glue was added to the centers of the flowers and
three dots of it added to the exposed corners of the outer die cut.
I cut an additional butterfly from an extra image,
inked it and added some glitter glue spots.
The butterfly was attached with foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by.
