I've Been Thinking Of You Today

I'm loving the sentiments on this new release from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps!!  I'm also excited to tell you that I've accepted an invitation to be one of your newest DT's for the Color Challenge.
The Shades of Green is my first inspiration card for you.

Color Challenge 14

This Challenge is  for all types of paper crafts, including scrapbook pages.  Each week we will have a color or colors that you have to incorporate in your project, and of course, you must use stamp(s) on the project.

This week's colors are Shades of Green. You may use any neutral colors.

The guidelines for the Color Challenge are...
1.  Use the challenge colors as your main colors.  You can use any shades or hues of the challenge colors.

2.  You can add any neutral colors (browns, grays, black, white, cream, kraft etc) that you wish.

3. You can use an accent color in addition to the challenge colors,  but it must be an accent only and not one of the main colors in your project.

4. You must use stamps on your project.

Remember your can create any type of project you want for this challenge but you must use stamp(s) on your project. They don't have to be Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamps but if you do use MFPaHC stamps,  you will be entered twice for a chance to win our weekly stamp prize.

For this week's Blue Yellow and Green Challenge, one  winner will receive our
Birthday Butterfly Stamp.

Here is my photo tutorial showing the steps making this card for you.

We can't wait to see what you create for this week's challenge! Remember you can use any stamp set that you would like, but if you use a Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamp set your name will be entered twice for the prize drawing.

New Home Cards

Sometimes you just don't have the stamp you need for a challenge, which is exactly what happened to me  when I started my DT inspiration card for FOSTV this week.  I didn't own the first Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps image and/or sentiment about a New Home.

One of the new sentiments from the Bundle of Joy 2014 Stamp Set and the designer paper saved me this week for this challenge.
Here is your sneak peek at one of the sentiments on this great set.

We are looking forward to seeing your entries so please post them up and add your links below.  Someone will win the lovely stamp set New Year
Please check out the challenge rules and don't forget to link up your cards to Speedy TV and the Friends of Speedy TV challenge.
We have many other challenges here on Speedy TV and you may want to check those out too!
Please link up your FOSTV114 entries by 3pm on Sunday 9th March 2014.
Thank you again to those who played last week's challenge and it is now time to announce the winner.

Music Journal using Tsunami Rose Designs Monochrome Brown Designer Papers

I have an awesome friend, Jeanne, who plays the guitar and banjo and enjoys going to Bluegrass Festivals.
I wanted to make a journal for her to use at one of the festivals with a place for photos, business cards, journaling, pics, strings,  lyrics and guitar chords.

It had to be able to open flat for her to look at while she played, so I used an album type of layout, with a Want 2 Scrap Chipboard Journal Cover and Spellbinders dies.

The designer papers from Tsunami Rose's Monochrome Collection were perfect for this journal.

I really like this collection with all of it's jouraling cards, preprinted sentiments and ephemera.

This is Chapter One of this Journal, with more to follow soon!
