Happy Halloween Pumpkin

This beautiful pumpkin image is from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps (a Hendrich Company)
and the image is from the What a Scream 2013 set.

I've used them for Challenge #96

The 6x6 card base us cut from black card stock and layered (with ATG) with lime green.
3 panels were cut 1 1/2 x 4 3/4 " and layered with Designer Card Stock from Me and My Big Ideas (Elle Krans - Mambi Sheets)
Layering for the sentiment block - cut to fit around sentiment
I found this in my bag of "cuts" (I keep a small plastic bag with my dies of any extras or mistakes for later use) - and thought it would work well knowing that the image would cover the place where another die had been cut (how, I have no idea).
See - covers perfectly! Don't ya just love it when a plan works!
Hmmmm, wonder how many of these I can use up too?
Panels are attached with ATG.
I don't have very many markers yet, so I'm still coloring with colored pencils.  One of these days I'll have a set.
Once assembled, I added a little key lime  liquid pearls for a little extra bling
The finished project

If Friends Were Flowers, I'd Pick You!!!

This is my last post for awhile for Tammy's Scrapin' Corner, y'all.
But we will see y'all after the first of the year, hopefully!
I'm going to miss this group of crafter's that I've become friends with.

Thanks to our great sponsor, Bugaboo, for this awesome sentiment
which I thought was so appropriate today.
To you, my friends from Tammy's Scrapin' Corner!

I'm on an aqua/turquoise/peacock blue kick lately after seeing some of the new Christmas displays at Michael's Stores a few weeks ago.  I love it added with some lime green!

I've used some 6 x 6 Jewel Basic Colorbok papers and Card Stock for all of this project.
 Starting with a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" base with a top fold.
Attach a 5 x 5 piece of designer paper with your ATG.

The flowers were made from a Paper Studio's heart punch which were then colored with my spectrum noir markers, moulded and  attached with micro glue dots.

The three vertical panels were cut and assembled (1 1/2 x 4 3/4 base and 1 1/4 x 4 1/2 Designer Paper on top).

The leaves were cut with my Cricket using the Picture Perfect set and colored with the Spectrum Noir markers.
I cut the sentiment and layered with card stock and designer paper which were attached with foam tape.

The bottom strip was cut (same as top 3 vertical strips) and attached with foam tape.
Then I just layered the leaves and flowers, adding a bow.

This is such a simple card to make.

Some creepy cloth from Dollar tree, dollar tree table scatter and confetti.
A Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps (a Hendrich's Company), What a Scream 2013 stamp set
(for the sentiment inside of the card).
Image was circle cut and layered with black.
Everything attached with ATG and pop dots then sprayed with
Goosebumps for a more textured finish!

My first ATC

Love To Create has an ATC Challenge this week and it's the very first one I've ever made.

What adorable little things they are!

Our generous sponsor this week is A Day For Daisies

and I've used the Christmas Poinsettia image which I fussy cut (after coloring with my Spectrum Noir markers) and layered on top of holly berry leaves which were cut using the Best of 2007 images from my Cricket cartridges.

The card was dry embossed with a Paper Studio's A2 Snowflakes folder.

Once I got over the "fear" of making an ATC - it was so very easy.

Head on over to Love To Create and check out all of the DT inspiration for some ideas and enter the challenge for a chance to win a $15.00 gift certificate to spend as you wish.

Good Luck,
Happy Monday Morning
and
Blessings,
Trudy

Autumn Splendour

It's a Fall/Harvest challenge this week at

FOSTV
 (Friends of Speedy TV)
 a Mark Hendrich's Company.

My DT inspiration card uses the Dragon Flies 2013 mini stamp set, heat embossing my papers with both gold and copper randomly with various sizes of stamps from the set.

The Harvest Splendour sentiment (from the Autumn Splendour 2013 set) was stamped with ColorBox Black pigment ink, cut to size and mounted on another piece of cardstock.
Both were edged with 1/8" scor-tape and gold glitter was applied.

Head on over to the challenge and check out all the other DT's inspiration for you this week and enter the challenge for a chance to win some of their great stamps!
Good Luck!

and
Blessings,
Trudy

Where My Witches At? Tsunami Rose Style

It's so very easy to make beautiful projects like this when you have such great journal papers to work with.

I've used the Witches Brew Journal Papers and basically embellishments for my
 Tsunami Rose
 Design Team Inspiration Card
 for you today!

I loved this image from the moment I saw it and decided to work my card around her.

I started gathering items I might want to use.

I don't work with sketches very often, I just kind of go with what hits me at the moment.

 Here's a close up.

Gathering the items I might use while creating the card
III
I used a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" base of Kraft Paper and a 5 x 5 piece of glittered wall paper I had in my stash.  Both were hand distressed and then inked with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo.
IV
I trimmed and distress the sentiment and attached to each other with my ATG.
V
The image was distressed with ink and layered with black cardstock to fit.
